Hearts for God – FCC’s Women’s Ministry

Hearts for God will give you the chance to connect to God through His Word and to each other through shared hearts, laughter and tears. God created us to live life in relationship – to Him and to each other.  A friend brings out your very best by encouraging you, challenging you, and comforting you when you need it most.  Hearts for God is a place where you are free to be yourself as you experience the miracle of God’s transforming love.

Join us for any or all of our studies and special events.  There should be something for each and every one of you ladies!

Bible Studies:

Each study offers a different topic of the Bible and can either be a video or live teaching.  Some studies have homework and others do not but when each class is finished you are sure to have a deeper relationship with the Lord and be blessed to find some friends along the way.

Starting in 2014 we have a new discipleship class called captivated.  No matter how long you have walked with Jesus, every one of us should be discipling someone else and each of us should be in the process of being discipled.  Captivated will take you on a journey of getting to know the attributes of God, the effective prayer life, reading God’s word, obedience to Christ, how to share Christ with others and many other topics.  Whether you are a new Christian or have been a Christian for over 20 years, you are sure to be “captivated” by Jesus through this journey.

Special Events:

  • Christmas Brunch – Each December we celebrate the real reason for the Christmas season with a ladies brunch.  We enjoy fellowship, food, worship and a special speaker. Join us as we get away from the busyness of our lives, get together with other women and celebrate the birth of our Savior.
  • Conferences – Enjoy one of the many conferences Vermont and New England have to offer women, from Iron Sharpens Iron for Women, Fresh Grounded Faith, Girlfriends in God, Hearts in Harmony, just to name a few.

Check out our Hearts for God bulletin board in the back of the sanctuary for more details of upcoming studies and events.  Hope to see you there!
